During the use of thin film tactile switches, there may be some minor issues, such as switch contact failure. This type of switch is a commonly used electronic switch with good structural performance, but because it belongs to electronic switch products, there may be product control failures. What should I do if the thin film touch switch malfunctions? Can I repair it myself?
It is not recommended to repair the thin film touch switch by yourself. If you are not a professional worker, it is not recommended to open the product for repair. You should find a professional worker to repair it. If the thin film touch switch is zero, it is generally necessary to clean the surface of the thin film switch. The failure of the thin film switch may be due to oil stains on the surface, such as heavy dirt and dust, which may cause the product to malfunction. In the case of malfunction, without professional maintenance, you can first try cleaning the surface with a cleaning agent and a soft bristled brush to clean the surface and contacts of the membrane switch, but use appropriate cleaning agents and do not damage the surface.
If the surface is cleaned but still unusable, you can consider whether the contacts of the membrane switch are malfunctioning, and carefully adjust the position and pressure of the contacts. In this way, it is possible to restore the normal function of the switch. It is recommended to complete this process under the maintenance of professional personnel. Non conductive tools can be used to gently move the contact points to ensure proper contact between them.
